Five Finger Death Punch is an American heavy metal band from Los Angeles, California. Formed in 2006, the group's name is derived from classic oriental martial arts cinema. They achieved commercial success rapidly.
The Way Of The Fist: On July 31, 2007, FFDP released The Way Of The Fist, selling 5,800 copies in its first week. It debuted at #199 on the Billboard 200. The album's lead single, "The Bleeding", was released on July 13, 2007 and quickly charted in the top ten and received much radio airplay.
War Is The Answer: War Is The Answer was announced as FFDP's second studio album in May 2009. The album was debuted at #7 on the Billboard 200, selling over 44,000 copies in its first week of release. The first single from the album, "Hard To See", was released on July 21, 2009 and entered US rock radio's top 10 after only a couple of weeks on the charts.
The band entered the studio to record their third album in November 2010. The album has a tentative release date for April or May 2011.

Oh my GOD!
Just found out yesterday that Five Finger Death Punch has been working on their third studio album since November 2010 and it has a tentative release date for April or May 2011.

A little update.
So I posted a bit of a biography on Vayden and was thinking of doing more on other bands. With that being said, the next few updates may be a bit of info. on my favorite bands or just bands I've discovered or whatever. It's fun, for me at least, to read stuff about bands and find out things I *never* knew.

Vayden.
Vayden is a 4-piece melodic hard rock band originally from Phoenix, Arizona. They formed in 2002 by vocalist Curtis Casey and drummer Bruce Weitz, renaming the band after Weitz's deceased son, Vayden Zoe Weitz, in 2005. The current lineup includes Armin Peterson on guitar and Matt McMoots on bass guitar.
Children Of Our Mistakes
Vayden's first full-length release, Children Of Our Mistakes, was originally released independently in 2006 and then re-released in 2008 by Silent Majority Group. Their first single, 'Anthem Of The Used', spent 16 weeks in rotation on KUPD, WIIL, WXQR, KQXR, WYBB, WZBH and several others. Their second single, 'The One You Left Behind', enjoyed similar success with 13 national adds and is currently in rotation on Octane (Sirius XM) Radio.
Vayden has shared the stage with label-mates Candlebox, Tantric and Framing Hanley along with other artists including Drowning Pool, Authority Zero, Matchbox 20, Three Days Grace, 30 Seconds To Mars, Alien Ant Farm and Slightly Stoopid. Vayden has also participated in radio festivals such as 98KUPD's 'Ufest', as well as international festivals such as the Dithmarscher Rockfestival in Marne, Germany. Vayden is currently the resident band at the world famous Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles and opened for Slash at his Autobiography book singing at the Whisky in 2007.

I love laying in bed and just listening to music before I fall asleep. Yes, I love rock, but sometimes it's just nice to wind down with something that could easily put me to sleep. As I write this, I'm listening to the above song and am completely in a trance and it feels amazing.

There's a HUGE reason that this is the first song I'm posting and I don't want to go into detail really, but let's just say it saved my life. This song means more to me than any song out there and even though I don't listen to it often, when I do, in a sense it makes me feel safe. So enjoy. :)
